Want to fill with oils?
Here's some noteworthy information from one of our loyal customers:
"You should let people know that they can fill capsules with all kinds of oils -- walnut, olive, garlic, mega-3, grape-seed and any other oil they may like to take. I have been filling my own for four years with no problem. On the other hand water or your mouth will melt one in less than a minute. I make up to 500 at a time using your machines. I bought 10 from you. It takes about ten days for us to take all of them. They do not melt in the bottles. No oil that has any water whatsoever should be used or it will melt the capsule." The type of plastic on the top and base is ABS. ABS has good chemical and stress-cracking resistance to inorganic salt solutions, alkalis, mineral acids (except strong oxidizing acids), and some mineral, vegetable, and animal oils. Petroleum-based oils, solvents, and paints SHOULD NOT BE USED, as they will cause the material to craze. There is a possibility that the plastic can be damaged by powders with a high oil content of eugenol. Eugenol is an essential oil that is contained in herbs such as cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and bay leaf.
